I only just realized that that is the correct translation of the title of Rebbe Nachman's story which is normally translated as: the Sophisticate and the Simpleton. For a long time I've maintained that Hassidut is the answer to Post Modernism, but for some reason I never clicked on the fact that this story embodies the answer itself.
