seeking employment once again

so, once again i get to learn something new in a new field and expand my scope of knowledge.. I'm looking for something really interesting that uses web technology, and human interface-- database stuff can be cool in the mix too. I'm tempted to go in the direction of PHP + AJAX over J2EE or .NET, but it looks like most businesses have gravitated to one or the other.
