As we say in the Shema everyday twice a day, the seasonal rains begin with what is known as the Yoreh, a shocking sudden and powerful rain.
Tonight the Yoreh came thundering down here in Jerusalem, on the same night we began to pray. What a beautiful fulfillment of HaShem's commitment to provide for us.
